Resacas is a slice-of-life graphic novel that follows four friends as they navigate early young adult lives in their border town of Brownsville, TX. In the first chapter, we’re introduced to the characters; high school friends who, through their actions and conversations, foreshadow the rest of the book. It’s a story about young love, friendship, family expectations, and growing up.
