This illustration of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was commissioned for "Latina Voices/Voces de mujeres latinas," a biography-anthology(?) project by the Spanish 308S: Latino/a Voices in Duke, Durham, and Beyond class at Duke University.

Copies of the book were donated to all middle and high schools in Durham Public Schools, to Durham Public Libraries, and to other non-profit organizations working with the Latino community in that area.
